Dog Owners Confess They Change Their Voices When Speaking To Their Dogs

Hello, friends and fellow dog owners! We can't speak for the entire doggo community, but when it comes to us, we're undoubtedly guilty of using baby voices when speaking to our dogs. And while some may find it extremely repulsive, we think it's adorable and our doggos do too. Dogs understand everything. They know when they've been good, when they've been bad, when you're feeling good, and when you're feeling bad. When we use baby talk with our doggaroos, they take it as a sign of comfort and reassurance, that they in fact are good. And at the end of the day, that's all dogs want; to know that they're the goodest of the goodest.

    Honestly, our thoughts exactly. Just like you wouldn't ignore a human companion when they're making insightful observations, you don't ignore your dog either!

    Font - pegothejerk +1 · 2 days ago My wife does full on cartoon quality voices for our three dogs, one of our dogs is a nutcase from the pound that seems like she could snap at any moment, she gets a super frightening low raspy demons voice, this coming from a 5' 115lb pastry chef. I love every second of it.

    Handwriting - Yoshpot · 1 day ago My childhood dog used to bark at you when he wanted something so then you had to list off all the things he might want: "treat", "walkies", "wee wee" etc etc... then he would spin around on the spot when you got to the right one. I still sometimes list things to our current dog and he just looks at me blankly while I wait for a spin!
